From mills and manufacturing to cheering on the Greyhounds, we are proud of our history. On June 22nd, the Town of Lisbon is inviting friends and residents to come together for a grand celebration of all 225 years of Lisbon’s history.

Learn about Lisbon’s Special History

Lisbon History Lecture & Breakfast

Location: Lisbon United Methodist Church

Time: 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Details: Local historian Charlie Plummer will give an overview of Lisbon history. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, and coffee in abundance. Donations welcome!

Registration: Limited seating available! Email rcunningham@lisbonme.org or call 353-3000 x 122 and indicate your name and how many seats you are reserving. Deadline to register is June 19th at end of day.

Tour of town vault

Location: Lisbon Town Hall

Details: Visit the town vault and see town special archived documents, including birth, death, marriage, and election information! To see items, visit the Town Clerk’s office for a guided tour.
